Some give them incentives or tips while other share their groceries.
Recently, a viral post on Facebook of a Grab Food delivery rider with his unusual condition has been gaining the appreciation and respect of many.
The inspiring story was first shared on Facebook by Edmund Gan a few months ago and has since gone viral with over 11,000 reactions and 3,000 shares.
Like most of us utilizing food delivery services right now, he said that he requested for his delivery to in a manner that minimized contact as much as possible.
But his request didn’t go through this time around, when his delivery rider requested assistance for his bubble tea order when he arrived.
He received a message from his food delivery that really made him curious.
“Could you help hold this? I can’t do it myself.”
He went on an intercepted his order and learned the poor yet amazing condition of the man who delivered his food.
Edmund learned that his delivery rider had no hands. And for this reason he was unable to leave his order by the door.
His delivery rider named Syahrain said he have lost his hands during an mishap in primary school.
But it did not stop him from continuing to ride his motorcycle and make a living for himself as a food delivery rider.
He is even described by Edmund as being full of life, and being optimistic and cheerful.
Netizens wasted no time in crowding Edmund’s Facebook post with applause for the inspiring food delivery rider.
Many also took the time to send out their regards to him. Some even cited him as a motivational story for all.
