Actors and actress like us may stop working for a variety of reasons. One of the most common is due to health concerns.
Many consider the daughter of the Megastar Sharon Cuneta as one of the most promising actress we have today.
She’s been around on television for almost a decade now since she started last 2003. But for some reason, she stopped her appearance around the year 2016.
KC Concepcion recently revealed that her d0ct0rs diagnosed with a medical condition that is keeping her out of showbiz limelight.
In an interview with Tim Yap for his YouTube channel on Saturday, Concepcion opened up for the first time on why it’s taking her so long to make a showbiz comeback.
“I am super grateful for work, but uh, number one, I want to be super open about this because it’s something I also want to talk about in the future.
“So I was diagnosed with PCOS and that caused me to gain so much weight,”
“I always want to be at my best. I want to be physically fit.”
KC also told that like most of celebrities, she feel positive about herself when she looks pleasing.
“I want to look good. I want to get my body tight.
“When I look good, I feel good and that’s what you serve people on screen. It’s as simple as that,”
According to an online health website, women with PCOS produce higher-than-normal amounts of male hormones.
This hormone imbalance causes them to skip menstrual periods and makes it harder for them to get pregnant.
“I know a lot of women who have it. It’s quite common in a way but not a lot of people talk about it.”
“That’s something I want to talk about in depth later on in the future na because I don’t think right now is the time.”
“Wala pa ako masyadong information about it,”
When asked how she deals with the dis0rder, Concepcion said she just constantly seeks the advice of her her d0ct0r.
Nonetheless, the actress happily shared that she feels so much better now.
Instead, she has been spending a lot of time being hands-on with her businesses like her jewelry collection Avec Moi and her social enterprise KC’s Closet.
