Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia still have something to smile about his career despite his recent break up with former flame Julia Barretto. Now that they are both officially single, fans and followers of the 21 year old actor and his new love team partner, Janella Salvador, can’t help but eagerly anticipate how their pairing would look like in their upcoming television series “The Killer Bride”.
During the press conference of program that is slated to premiere on August 12, Joshua admitted that initially, there was some hesitation between him and Janella. But they were able to eventually break the ice after undergoing some trainings and workshops. The young actor even added that for their roles, both him and Janella had to learn how to do horseback riding.
“Nag-workshop kami. Nagkakapaan din kami don during mga break. And may mga ginawa rin kaming… nangangabayo kami, tinuturuan kaming mangabayo. Hanggang sa naging komportable na kami tapos naging magaan ngayon sa eksena,”
Salvador also said that although there are some part that she found difficult, she never seemed to have any problem making a connection with Garcia.
“Actually, hindi naging mahirap makipag-connect kay Josh don sa workshop. Hindi naman naging mahirap na maka-adjust,”
When the press people ask if they are open in doing some kissing scenes, they both told it is not an issue for them.
Joshua said that it’s ok for him.
“Ako po siguro… kasi binilang ko na yung sarili ko as actor at bilang aktor ho, kahit ano pa yan gagawin ko yan basta hindi naman ganun kalala, di ba?”
Janella on the other hand told the press that she ok with it if that is what the script or story requires.
“Kung kailangan siya sa eksena para mapaganda yung show, why not? That’s why it called art – we’re actors, actresses – ayun.”
“Actually, na-excite talaga ako nung nalaman kong makaka-work ko si Josh (Joshua) kasi ilang beses na dapat kaming magkakatrabaho pero laging hindi natutuloy. So I think this is the right time, the right project for us to be able to work with each other,”
Joshua added that he’s just so thankful that the project is finally happening after several setbacks.
“Masaya ako kasi siyempre opportunity ito and ang dami na nga naming mga project na hindi natutuloy. This time, finally matutuloy na siya. And thank you kay Lord sa blessing.”
