Bea Alonzo finally aired her piece on the alleged cheating and eventual break up from her boyfriend Gerald Anderson. This was after the actress posted a series of cryptic message on her social media account shortly after pictures of Anderson caught with his co-star Julia Barretto surfaced online.
In an interview with ABS CBN, the 31 year old actress admitted that she felt she was left hanging by her longtime boyfriend Gerald Anderson. According to Bea, their relationship never really had any official break up.
Alonzo gave a surprise look after ABS-CBN News reporter MJ Felipe said that it was Gerald who first confirmed their break up.
“Ah, he said that?”
“Because honestly, to my understanding, we did not break up.”
“He just started not talking to me.”
Anderson’s comfirmation of them parting ways seemed to be related to another published article wherein Dennis Padilla, Julia Barretto’s father, said he already talked to Gerald via phone call.
It was during their conversation that Gerald told Dennis that he has already broken up with Bea and is currently courting his daughter, Julia Barretto.
Last Friday, July 26, a brave Bea Alonzo welcomed interview during the press conference of her latest drama series in ABS CBN. This was the first time that the actress finally addressed the issues head on.
According to Bea, she has to move forward despite of what she going through right now. She also added that being heart broken does not give her the excuses not to attend her work and commitments.
“I’m moving forward. At saka, siyempre, hindi ako puwedeng magpaipokrita.”
“I feel, like, I’m a strong woman.”
“Feeling ko, pinalaki ako ng ABS na professional, and I always have to show up regardless of whatever’s happening in my life.”
Alonzo also took the opportunity to thank all the people and fellow celebrities who gave their support to her during these enduring times. It can be recalled that several high profile celebrities expressed their support to the Alonzo in the height of the controversy.
“Malaking bagay na nandiyan yung mga kaibigan ko. Malaking bagay na maraming nagki-care para sa akin,”
“Actually, nagugulat nga ako, maraming nagpapadala ng bulaklak, maraming nagti-text, and malaking bagay yun sa akin.”
