Grade 12 Student Inspires Netizens For Selling Turon In School To Support Her Education

Not everyone of us is born with a silver spoon, that is the reality of life. But some people, despite of the hardships of everyday living, do somehow finds ways to cope and do something extra to make ends meet.

A young female grade 12 student earned praises and admiration of netizens after pictures of her selling goods in school went viral recently. A netizen named Sherydy Turalba posted several pictures of her schoolmate only identified by the name “Sarah” as she sits in sells home made “turon” to other fellow students.

According to Sherydy, she initially thought what Sarah was doing was just a mere school project or one of those extra curricular activities required by her class. However, it turned out that the grade 12 student was selling turon to support her education.

“Nakaka–inspire si Ate. Gumagawa siya ng paraan para makaraos siya at para maka–graduate.”

“Nakatira po si Ate Sarah sa Aliaga, at sa Talavera National Highschool po siya nag–aaral. Sa simpleng pagbili lang natin ng lumpia, malaki na yung maitutulong natin sa kanya.”

“Grade 12 na daw po siya. Ate, kung nababasa mo man ‘to, nakaka–inspire ka. God bless you ate.”

“Pa–share na din po, salamat!”


The post which dates July 12 became immediate became viral. As of writing, it already garned 71k reactions, 9.5k comments and 37k shares.
